Sound off of the week
The cancelation of the NBC daytime show Another World.
I am using my web page for the next couple of weeks to aid in the effort being made by Another World fans to save the show. I am a 25 year fan of the show and I feel that NBC has gone to far. They have ignored the wishes of the fans and have chosen instead to stick with the fairly new show Sunset Beach. Is it any surprise that SB is last in the ratings but yet is staying on the air while AW is the longest running hour long program and being taken off? You see NBC owns a part of Sunset Beach and who created SB? Non other than Aaron Spelling himself. This makes me sick, apparently the powers that be over at NBC have decided that more money is to be made on the "Beach" and they could care less what the fans want. So my page will be a meeting place for those of us trying to save the show for a little while. For those of you with questions of a personal nature please e-mail me as usual and your questions will be posted as soon as possible. Please read on to find out about our organized boycott to help Another World.

Sinse NBC has chosen to ignore the wishes of the fans, we have banned together to create a boycott of all NBC programming beginning the day after Another World signs off the air. NBC doesn't care about thier viewers, they only care about the spare change in their own pockets, please read on for mailing information about who you can contact about saving the show.

Contact information
|
We should start by contacting NBC at [email protected] and let them know how hurt we are by their decision and what we plan to do as consumers in retaliation. Next e-mail Angela [email protected] and let her know how much we would appreciate our soap being picked up by another network. This is a good place to start. So lets get to work. Please contact me if you have any information that you think would be helpful in this process, or if you have any questions, or would like a more detailed mailing list. I have other mailing info available, but not enough room to post it all.
